Thinking about jogging/ running? Starting from scratch or wanting to restart or do a bit more? We enjoy it!

Beginning or uncertain about how far you can or want to go? Try our free beginners’ sessions in Stockley Park , entrance roundabout Park View Rd, at~ UB8 3LL. Register 9.15 for 9.30 start. 8 week series start 11/2, 2/6,and 6/10 in 2012.

If you can run continuously for 30 minutes or more then you are welcome to join us on our Wednesday night runs from Hayes and Harlington social Club. We do a range of paces including not at all fast.

Only a small turn out for the first winter time trial, Stuart Williams took first place, with Jack Nisbet close on his heels, Jacqui Howell put in a good effort to finish in third place, Steve Barrington elected to take new comer Rob around the course, so did not compete.

Aran Forde was the big surprise of the night, taking three minutes off her expected time finishing just ahead of Steve Barrington. Results:-

Steve Barrington found the pace to ward off the challenge from Jack Nisbet to secure first place, Daniel Evans made a great effort to finish in 3rd place. Results:-

Stuart Williams carried the colours round in 4.04 and looks too well at the end of it.

Relatively small run that deserves to be more popular. Organisation is good and the scenery is magic.

Not one for PBs or if you are a tarmac adict, or if you are carrying an injury. Brian was right to give it a miss. Most of the course on grassy or beaten earth paths with some steep climbs and descents. Dreamt of 90 mins during the flat first 3 miles but well pleased with ~91.30 at the end.

Definitely one to do again. john s.
